My father-in-law had his 93 birthday at the end of March. Of course, at the age, what do you buy them. He always loves to come to my house for food and dessert so I decided to give him a dessert of the month as a gift. He was delighted with his gift.
April was Blueberry Cobbler and May was No Bake Oreo Pie.

Happy Thursday dear friends. Well, last week I talked about planting flowers, which was a great idea. However, here in central Florida, it got very hot. Yikes, in the mid 90's and with no rain, they were not happy. Fortunately, yesterday it rained. They were happy. It is always surprising how rain can make a difference.

Happy Wednesday. I hope your week is off to a great start. We are having really warm temps this week. The pool is finally warm. I like it really warm before I get in there. lol!
With all of this warm weather, my garden is crying out for water. We have had little rain so I have had to water everyday. Somehow, the rain water is just more effective than when I water them. Looks like greater chances of rain this coming weekend.

Ladder Planter
Ladder Planter
A couple of months ago I posted about a ladder that broke when hubby was climbing down from the roof.
I fixed up the top part of the ladder for my house type plants. You can see how I did that here.
Since it was a tall ladder, one of the sides was not broken so I saved it. I knew I would do something with it. I decided to make it into a planter for out front.
