Welcome to the party and Happy September. Can you believe it? Where did the summer go? My niece started first grade today. They live in Rochester, NY. I got lots of pictures and a video of her getting on the bus. As usual, she is all excited and her parents are a mess. I remember those days. It was heart breaking to see them go off to school. I'm sure, many of you can relate.

Welcome to the party. Update on health - I was supposed to start the final set of treatments on Monday but this UTI won't go away and now a bladder infection as well. One of the meds can affect the bladder and they didn't want to give me the treatment with all of the other issues. I am on the 4th set of meds for the UTI and one for the bladder infection. Hope they work. I want to move on.

Welcome to the party. I am so glad you stopped by. We were lucky that Debby did not hit us. We had lots of rain and today it has been so windy. Two large branches came down but didn't hurt anything.
It seems that every time hubby goes out of town, major things happen. I filled 3 garbage cans and after they took those, I filled up two more. Then the biggest branch came down and it wasn't dead. It just missed my she shed.
My nephew is coming to cut it up. He just happened to be down here visiting friends.

Update on my treatments - I was able to have my treatment on Monday. The amounts of the drugs have increased and I get more tired. I told hubby it is like I just completed 150 pushups. I am also on my second UTI. Yuck!
I am lucky that I have not had some of the other issues associated with the drugs like nausea, heartburn and neuropathy. I keep pushing forward.

Welcome to the party. I am so glad you stopped by. I had a disappointing day at chemo. My white blood cell count was too low for them to give me my treatment. They think it was because of being sick and taking antibiotics. I was disappointed because I was counting down the number of treatments to go. Now it is extended by another week. Oh well, I just hope all is well by next week.

Welcome to the party. The past week was a tough one. I received all three of my chemo meds which hit me hard. On top of that I got a bad cold. I spent a lot of time in bed. I finally got some meds on Monday and I am doing so much better.
I only have 4 more weeks on these meds and I hope all continues to go well. Thanks for your continued support.

Welcome to the party. Here it is July already. This summer is going by so quickly. How are you celebrating July 4th?
We are just staying home and going to grill out. Nothing special.
I thought I would update you on my journey - I am at my half way point in my 12 session treatment. I am doing pretty good. The first three days after treatment are the best days, then it usually hits me like a bad case of flu. That lasts for a few days and then it is time for the next treatment. The lumps have been reduced by over 50%. That is good news.

Welcome to the party. We are at a Resort and Spa in Orlando with my BIL and SIL. My SIL and I had a wonderful body message on Sunday and we are getting facials today. We, went to so many wonderful restaurants.
They do pool time but I sit in the shade. As some of you may know already, I have stage 3 breast cancer. I started chemo on Monday so I have to stay out of the sun. So if I don't answer all of your comments, know that I read then and appreciate you taking to time to comment.

Welcome to the party. It has been a little crazy on the home front. We needed a new sceptic system. Seemed simple enough, not so. They didn't want to put it where the old one was because of all of the tree roots. So move it to another location. Only problem is that there are trees there too. so they had to come down. Fortunately, we didn't care as much if they came down. So today, they took down the trees.
But before they took the trees down, we rented a sod cutter and pulled up all of that sod and placed some in other areas and the rest is on our side walks. We thought they would install the sceptic system this week, but no, next week. That's my crazy life.

Welcome to the party. Did you get to see the eclipse? I didn't. I was sitting outside with the dogs and waiting for it to get a little darker. We were supposed to be at 65% but I didn't notice it getting dark. It seemed like it got a little dark for a few moments, but not sure if it was a cloud. Maybe you had a better experience than I did. lol!
