Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well. We are having a lot of rain here in central Florida, but then again, it is hurricane season when the rain usually comes. The nice part is that it usually only rains for a few hours and then the sun comes out. My garden seems to love it.
How is your weather? I know that up north the temperatures have been quite hot. Mu Mom said it was to be 94 in Pittsburgh today. That is actually hotter than here in Florida. They did say that the north would be much hotter this summer. Those of you up north, is that the case? Well, wherever you are, I hope you are enjoying your summer.

I am so glad you stopped by today. I hope you are all doing well. I know some of you are back to work and have sort of resumed your normal routine. Mine seems to be about the same as it was before, but hubby is getting a little antsy. He wants to go somewhere, but not sure where.
He is rather disappointed that he can't take the motor home somewhere. I have no desire to be around so many people. Many of the KOAs and parks are packed. Not interested, I just want to stay home and be safe.

Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a rather quiet one, just hubby and me mostly. My daughter came over Friday and today for dinner. I spent most of the weekend working on peaches. I made lots of things with the peaches we brought back from the farm. I will be sharing some of my recipes soon. Right now, I don't even want to look at a peach and I still have more left.
How was your weekend? Most of the places around here cancelled fireworks but it seems that many bought their own since we heard lots of fireworks going off last night. What about in your area?

Here we are in the last day of June. This summer is flying. Of course, here in Florida it has been summer for some time. The weather is hot, hot, hot. Thankfully, we had a pool put in so that helps. At least you can get cooled off. How is your weather?
With the 4th being this coming weekend, are you planning any get togethers? I am not sure what we are doing since cases have risen so much here in Florida and we just don't want to be exposed if we don't have to. It will probably just be us, but that is OK.

Sometimes you don't realize how much you need a rest and get rejuvenated. We have been going almost non stop on the house and it wasn't until we got here that I realized I need a little rest. Gardening is a true passion of mine, although and unfortunately, I don't make it a priority these days. Thankfully, grocery stores offer an abundance of store bought flowers. Hydranges are one of my favorites.

Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! Can you believe this is the last Thursday in June. This month seemed to fly by. After being at home these last few months, we have decided to take a little road trip to the farm today. Nothing exciting but I love to go there, it is so quiet. The dogs love it because they can roam and not get into trouble, well hopefully not. As I mentioned in a previous post, my brother-in-law manages a farm that has both peaches and pecans. I am so looking forward to going. What are you plans for this weekend?

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you have any Father's Day celebration? We didn't but I helped hubby build shelves in his barn. We worked Saturday and Sunday to get it all done. it looks really good and now he has to sort out everything and get organized. We were both so tired that I picked up Thai food for dinner. All in all, he said he had a great day! That's all that matters.

Happy Sunday my friends and a special Happy Father's Day for all of you Dads out there. I hope you had a wonderful day. For a Father's Day gift I gave hubby my help. We worked the last two days in building shelves and a work bench in his shed. He was so excited. Of course, we are both exhausted now and too tired to cook, sounds like takeout.

We had another beautiful day here in central Florida. No rain for two days. After all the rain we had, you would think that the garden would be fine. But no, with all of the heat, the garden dries out quickly. I have had to water each day. Today I was busy working on moving some more things to my she shed. Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We had a nice family gathering to celebrate hubby's birthday and our daughter's hubby's birthday and we threw in father's Day as well. The boys played horseshoe, then some swimming, some appetizers, more swimming and then dinner. After, we had a vanilla cake and a chocolate cake for dessert. A good day was had by all. We are having a little get together to celebrate hubby's birthday(which is over), daughter's hubby's birthday and father's day since we were not together before and won't be on father's day.
