Blueberry and Peach Cobbler
Blueberry - Peach Cobbler
It is peach season and what goes great with peaches? Blueberries of course. Well, at least if you picked a lot and have them in the freezer, like me.
When my BIL brought me peaches, I wanted to make a peach cobbler but then I realized that I had lots of blueberries from when we picked them. You might remember that for my FIL birthday, I gave him a series of cards, one for each month that entitled him to a dessert from me. I thought this would make a great birthday dessert.

Fresh Peach Hand Pies
Fresh Peach Hand Pies
It is peach season in Georgia. My BIL brought me peaches the other day and I was so excited. There is just something so delicious and tasty about Georgia peaches.
I am always torn about what to make first. Of course I eat one first, that's a given, next bake with them. Up first was some peach hand pies. I few of the peaches were ripe and needed to be used, so hand pies came to mind. Little pockets of "yumminess".

Fresh Peach Cobbler
Fresh Peach Cobbler
Well, as you may know, I brought back lots of peaches from the farm. I made peach hand pies and now it was time for peach cobbler. I am not sure if peach cobbler or peach pie is hubby's favorite dessert, but he does love them.

Fresh Peach Sorbet
Fresh Peach Sorbet
It's summer time and that means fresh peaches. I am lucky because my brother-in-law manages a peach farm in the summer and pecans in the fall. I love making lots of peach dishes but I wanted some sorbet. Most of the recipes that I found had way too much sugar in them. I am trying to cut down on sugar so I thought I wouldn't be able to find one that would work. And then I found it! One from Taste of Home. Can you believe that there are only 4 ingredients? It turned out so yummy.
