Over The Moon Linky Party

Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope your weekend was great. Mine was good even if it is a little cool here in central Florida. It seems as though the weeks are too cool but when the weekend comes, the temps drop. I was working on a chair outside yesterday and kept coming in to warm up my hands. Some parts even had frost last night. Fortunately, we didn't but covered plants just the same.
How is the beginning of the new year going for you? What did you do over the weekend? Let me know what is happening in your world.

Happy Monday and welcome to a brand new year. Do you set goals or make resolutions for the new year? I don't and actually I never have. I think of things I would like to do, but they are usually, work on a project, clean the garage, that sort of thing that gets done - eventually!
Do you have big plans for the new year? Maybe going out to eat is one!! Our numbers here in Florida went up drastically after the holidays. Not actually a surprise. Our little town has been packed with people shopping, eating at restaurants and just walking around. The other day, I could barley get though the town for all of the traffic. People just don't seem to care.
I hope where you are that things are looking up. Have a great week ahead.

Welcome back– our first blog party of 2021. Gosh I am not sure where the time has gone, it seems just yesterday I was trying to select the first features of 2019 and now its a new year and hopefully a BRAND NEW YEAR.
It was an interesting week, a lot of self reflection and a review of 2020. Bloggers sharing what they are working on and what their followers loved last year. It's tough I want to say, selecting only 4 posts to highlight. which is why I want to remind everyone, take a moment and search through. This is a space to get inspired and help each other out.

Happy Sunday everyone. Well, it is Christmas week. We are counting down to the big day. Don't remember when the kids were little and they were so excited they could hardly stand it. I remember those days myself when I was little. I miss having little ones around at Christmas. They make it so magical. If you have little ones, enjoy the time. It goes by so quickly.
If you are not ready yet, don't panic, you still have a few days. I am so enjoying this time before the big day. In-laws are coming for dinner tonight and then some company on Tuesday thru Thursday morning. It is going to be a wonderful week.
I want to send you special blessing for a wonderful Christmas holiday. You your home be filled with love and laughter. It may not be the same as Christmas's in the past, but we are blessed to have made it through this difficult year.

My presents are wrapped and under the tree, my baking is done, except for the Christmas cake and I have all of my groceries bought. I am feeling very relaxed and and enjoying the days.
I really thought I was behind this year, but somehow I got it all done and have been relaxing. We have company coming on Tuesday for a couple of days and then I will be getting food ready for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Happy Holiday Season! We are only one week away from Christmas Eve Day. It's coming fast. I finished my wrapping and the cookies are all done. I got some of them delivered and will do some more tomorrow.
Now all I have to do is make a list of what I need for meals and buy the ingredients. My BIL and SIL will be here on Tuesday for a couple of days and then there's Christmas Eve dinner, plus Christmas Day. Those meals will be smaller, just in-laws and my daughter. Sounds like a lot of cooking coming up.

Happy Thursday! Can you believe that two weeks from today is Christmas Eve Day. Yikes, why does it always seem to sneak up on me? I thought I was doing good, decorating done and the tree is almost finished. On to cookie making time - my favorite part.
I don't have many gifts to wrap since we don't buy much for each other - a couple of simple gifts. Do you buy for your hubby? How do your handle Christmas gifts? I am getting my gifts ready to send to mail. Should go out on Friday. At least that will be done.

I am almost done with my Christmas decorating. Just need to finish the tree. It was nice not doing so much this year, even though I enjoy it. I had 2 UTIs within 2 weeks of each other. That has really wiped me out. When I went last week, I was feeling better so tested negative, but then I woke with it on Sunday it was back. I did test positive today so they gave me some meds. Hopefully that will make it go away for good this time.
