Happy Monday! Can you believe that we are in the last week of October? Halloween is this week. I know it will be different than in past years. We have had to adjust to many new holidays this year and this will be no different. We can still decorate, make yummy cookies and great food to eat. Are you having trick N' treat in your area? I am not sure what they are doing here. I never really have any trick n' treaters except for the little boy next door.

Happy Thursday dear friends. I hope your week has been a good one so far. We have been having a great week and the weather has been beautiful. I have walked everyday.
I am working on sorting out more boxes in the garage and therefore, cleaning out the garage. It feels so good to get rid of somethings. I took a much of stuff to Habit for Humanity. I wanted to have a garage sale, but hubby is against it right now. I will keep some of the better stuff for one after the new year, hopefully. Maybe things will be better by then. Welcome to You're The Star - Family Feature Week
Happy Monday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a beautiful one. Warm but not too hot. It was lovely. I got some items painted. Hubby power washed the golf cart. He made a wooden box that fits on the back seat so the dogs can sit in it and not fall off. The box was looking a little shabby so I repainted it. Then a had this cart that I want to put out on the back porch so I cleaned it and painted it. I will share that when it is back together.

Over The Moon Linky Party

Happy Sunday! I hope your day has been awesome. We had an interesting day yesterday, I bought a new car. A 2020 Chevy Suburban. I have had one for the last 10 years and it was time for a new one. I hate buying cars and of course the one I wanted and best deal was 2 1/2 hours away. Why does it take so long to buy one? We were there four hours filling out paper work and signing and waiting. The worse part was that we had done most of the paper before we left.
We got home at 9 o'clock. The dogs were great. I was able to do a lot of the paper work outside. They had tables set up and the dogs could be with us. They slept all the way home and even slept in today until 7:30. Yesterday wore them out and me too. I hope to have it 10 more years. That's exhausting.
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.

First up is some spooky well actually more Fun Halloween Decor from Our Cloverhouse. She tells us I haven't really purchased anything new this year, just busted out all of my tubs full of Fall stuff and started placing it here and there! I think she did an awesome job.
And this will not surprise you, can we have Halloween without a ghost or two? Drugstor Divas are sharing a tasty merinque cookie shaped like ghosts. Simple recipe idea to follow and oh so fun. She tells us I thought they were adorable, and they actually came out pretty cute too. But in my mind they were a little fluffier and less triangular. But I wasn’t able to pipe them that way.They did give me an inspiration to make melted snowmen in the winter, though.
Comfort Spring has given us a little gift today. An adorable Vampire Gnome Printable that you can download for free. I am not sure about you but I have been searching for fun ad creative printables for all my crafts. This works perfectly. October is the month for cute Halloween treats and decorations. Today’s free printable is a little vampire gnome for Halloween.
Is it really Halloween if we don't share a Halloween Tablescape? This cute arrangement from Love My Little Cottage has so much inspiration. Of all the tablescapes I’ve created this year, this one was the most fun! I enjoyed pairing iconic orange and black haunted house colors with the shiny bling of Christmas and New Year’s Eve silver and gold. Creating the Shining Bright Haunted House Halloween Tablescape was a scream.
Bonus feature becuase I honestly cannot let a week go by without a seasonal cocktail. How about this tasty Bloody Sunrise Halloween Cocktail from The Kitchen is my Playground. Turn Tequila Sunrise's signature layers into a festive Halloween treat with this Bloody Sunrise Halloween Cocktail! I had a couple of days not feeling well. No covid symptoms but felt crappy. The weather was nice so I sat outside and went sorted through some boxes. I had not unpacked them and decided to go through them again. I got rid of lots of things and found things I was looking for. I even made rid on the shelves. I was so excited.

Over The Moon Linky party
Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday! I hope your day has been awesome. We decided to add a screen door to the door that goes from the laundry room to the garage. Sounded easy enough - not so. The screen door went on well but the main door would not close. So hubby decided to take the main door off. OMG, that is the heaviest door ever. I could barely lift it. He had to cut it down and then you should have seen us trying to get it back on. Unbelievable. And of course the door would not close all the way. I wanted to cry.
I told him to cut the floor down, because I was not taking that door off again and moving it. After, grinding the floor down and then adding the piece back in - 3 times - it finally closed. Nothing is ever easy. What a project. Have you ever had projects like that? I think we all have. Have a great upcoming week.

Today many of us in the great White North (it's not really white yet I promise) are celebrating Turkey Dinner Covid style. Happy Thursday my friends. I hope your week has been going well. I had a lovely visit with my friend down in Davie. As usual, we cooked, we laughed, we had a couple of drinks.
We did have a scare when her senior dog was limping on Tuesday morning. He had a very hard time getting up. He also has this mass under his chest. She was afraid to take him for fear it was cancer. I convinced her to take him and I would go with her. You should have seen the two of us trying to get an 80 pound dog into the car.

Happy Monday. Well fall has come to central Florida. We have temps overnight near 65 and about 74- 77 during the day I am loving it. I am trying to get more fall decor done. How is your weather? Have you cooled down? Are you done decorating for fall?
I am heading down to Davie, Fl today to visit my friend and spend a couple of night with her. We have been friends for about 12 years now. I first meet her when I went to get a facial. She has since left that place and took me with her. She has a wonderful set up in her home so we cook, eat, laugh and then fix our faces. Her husband is out of town so it is strictly girls nights and days.

Happy Sunday! Today is National Taco Day. Do you like tacos? I like them but hubby goes nuts over them. He doesn't care what kind. He is in a terrible conundrum trying to decide which one to have for dinner today. Oh, the choices!

Happy Thursday dear friends and welcome to October! Can you believe it? We woke up to 64 degrees on Wednesday. Wow, it was lovely. The day was beautiful - warm and breezy. Today is a little warmer but still vey pleasant and a nice way to start October. I am so getting into fall finally. I even bought some pumpkins last night. Now to do some more decorating. Happiness Is Homemade Party

Happy Sunday and welcome to our party. I am so delighted that you stopped by. I hope your weekend so going well. Ours has been pretty good although a little crazy. Our air conditioner decided to not cool down yesterday. Of course we had cooler temps all week until yesterday when it hit 90 again and today was 92. Hubby cleaned coils, new filter and did some others things to it, but it works for awhile and then off it goes. It doesn't bother me too much, but he couldn't sleep last night. I pulled the same amount of covers on and went to sleep.
Our refrigerator had problems last week. No ice will come out. We needed a new board and motor. We are having appliance issues. Yikes. I hope nothing else goes out. I hope you are having better success than we are.
First up these Mini Succulent Pumpkins from Stone Gable. Succulent topped pumpkins are the prettiest things! I think mini baby boo pumpkins and tiny succulents were made for each other. They are both very trendy right now and the succulents add such a nice topper to these little white pumpkins!
Whispers of the Heart has created a perfect Pumpkin Tablescape. A blogger after my own heart or table. She creates a lovely scape every Wednesday so make sure to check out her latest creations.
Our own Ducks In A Row shared a scrumptious Apple Crisp this week. Apple crisp tastes best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Be prepared, it won’t last long! You may want to make a double batch.
Simple Fall Soups, a collection of hale and hearty soups from Homemade on a Weeknight. Leaves changing colors and beginning to fall to the ground. Getting dark sooner, getting cooler earlier, maybe a little rain starting to trickle? All these things make me think of Autumn and my mind instantly turns to warm bowls of soup.
and for a special feature some fun Printables from My Home for All Seasons. They are such a fun and easy way to add to your seasonal decor.. I am so happy to be able to share a few more with you! Bringing in the season with printable art is simply a “must do!”
