Welcome to the party!! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am in PA this week and it was cold today. It was my sister's birthday and we went out to lunch. She had a couple of hours off work so we could go.
I walked around my Mom's small town. There's not many stores and some are not open on Monday and Tuesday. I did hit the thrift store. I can usually find something good, but not today.

Happy Monday. I hope you had a lovely weekend. I am in PA visiting my Mom and sister. The weather is much cooler than in Florida but at least there is no snow. We are having a good visit.
She will be 99 in April and she does so well living on her own. She told me yesterday, "I don't feel like 99". What a sweetie. I am so blessed to have her around even though I live so far away. I wish I lived closer. `

Happy Thursday dear friends. Last week it was cold and today was beautiful. it hit 80 degrees. I was so happy. We were outside all day. Nice again today but I am heading to PA to see my Mom. I know it will be a lot cooler there but they are not predicting any snow. It's also my sister's birthday so we will have fun.

Welcome to the party!! We are finally warming up and I hope you are too. We are going from record lows to a record high on Thursday. Crazy weather.
I am getting ready to head to PA on Thursday to see my Mom. Flying this time. I won't drive there in the winter. Never know what you will find in the mountains.
Our puppies are getting older and they will be one year old in February.
Cleo is the red one on the left and Antony is the cream one on the right. Antony is a pistol while Cleo is so good. That's boys for you. lol!

Happy Monday. I hope you are all staying warm and being safe. We had a very cold day on Sunday. It is finally going to get warm here in central Florida the end of this week. Of course I won't be here to enjoy it since I am heading to PA to see my Mom where it is cold.
Hopefully, one of these days, I will enjoy some warm weather. lol!!

Happy Thursday dear friends. I wanted to thank everyone for their wishes for Louie. He is doing well and on new food and meds. Hopefully this will keep him from getting sick again.
I am staying busy although I wish the weather was warmer. We are having a cool winter here in central Florida. I have several projects that I would like to work on outdoors, but it is too cold.
I know that those of you up north, probably think I am crazy since it it really cold up there, but this is cold for us. My blood has thinned too much. :)

Happy New Year Everyone, hard to believe another year has passed us by and 2024 is upon us. There has been so many great features shared with us every week and I truly hope Y’all continue sharing in 2024.
So Lets see what you have been up to.
Winter Centerpiece
Winter Centerpiece
I always feel a little sad when it is time to take down Christmas decorations. The house always seems so bare. I am not ready to decorate for Valentine's Day. Instead, a winter centerpiece on the table will have to do.
I used this scale during Christmas on my table and thought it would work nice for my winter setting as well.
This bell was from my Mom. When she went to school, it was a one room school house. The kids took turns ringing the bell for school to start. She remembers ringing it. She bought it when they sold the school house and gave it to me. My Mom will be 99 this year. Although the paint is worn, it still has a beautiful sound.
I usually have this crocheted table cloth on my dining room table. I made it many years ago and it was a labor of love. It has a few worn spots and a couple of places that need the yarn fixed but I can't part with it.
I love the whimsy of the pine cone stems. The tops almost seem to have snow/frost on them. perfect for winter.
