Well, it is Thursday again and I hope that you are enjoying this October. We are over half way through this month and I wish it would just slow down a bit. I am finally ready for Halloween. All except for the candy. I still need to get that but the house is done.
Since we were not here last year, I am not sure how many kids we will get. I hate to buy too much candy because then I eat it. Do you get lots of kids for Halloween or do you do something else?

We finished the new raised garden beds and filled them with dirt. I don't have any vegetables yet, but hopefully this week.
I also decorated for fall and Halloween. It has been so different decorating this house. I don't have all of the pace I had in the other one. I have lots of lights left over because I decorated above the garage and at this house we have a sun setter so no lights there. I guess I will add them to my garage sale items.

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week has been great. We drove back home on Wednesday. Another long trip home. It wouldn't be so bad but some much construction made it less than desirable. We had a lovely time and I enjoyed the cooler weather.
I bought a few pumpkins and some Halloween decorations so I will be decorating for Halloween today. Although I am still tired from the trip, I can finish some tomorrow. Have you decorated for Halloween?

Over The Moon Linky Party

Happy Sunday! I am still up north. Our trip took a little longer than we had hope - 15 1'2 hours. the dogs did fine but we were very tired. We are staying with my in-laws and enjoying the cooler weather. Today was a high of 75, now that is fall weather for me.
I even bought some pumpkins to take home. As we were driving here, we saw fields of pumpkins that they had picked and lined up ready to be picked up. We saw lots of trucks loaded with boxes of pumpkins. I took this one picture but we were moving so fast that you can't see the pumpkins too well.

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week has been great. We are driving to Pittsburgh, PA today. I used to drive this all the time but lately we have not driven and I am not sure how much I like driving with three dogs. So far they are being very good but 13 1/2 hours is long and that doesn't include stops.
I want to see my Mom who is 94 and still going strong and my little sister. They are supposed to have cool weather so I am looking forward to that.

Happy Sunday and the last Sunday in September. Where did this month go? The evenings are getting darker sooner, which I hate. I love to walk after dinner but soon it will be too dark to do that. Then there will be the time change, and that is even worse.

Happy Sunday and the last day of summer. Can you believe it? Here is Florida we are enjoying some lovely fall type weather for us. We have here what they call love bugs. They don't hurt you or bite but just are annoying. I am trying to sit outside and they keep landing on me, driving me crazy. Now I am not talking about a few bugs, but hundreds of them. I sprayed some bug spray but it didn't affect them. Hopefully, they won't last too much longer. They fly locked together, thus love bugs.

Happy Thursday and welcome to 8th Anniversary of Thursday Favorite Things! Can you believe it? I have enjoyed being part of this wonderful party and host with such wonderful friends.
My week has been good although my washing machine is still not working. They had to order a part, must be coming from China on a boat, might be in on Friday but probably not until next week. Almost 2 1/2 weeks. I should have bought a new one. I had to go to my daughters and do some laundry. I still have lots of laundry yet to do, but they can wait.
The weather has cooled down a little - around 88. I am so excited. Not exactly feeling like fall, but I will take it. Check out my wonderful features and then link up your posts. Have a great day.

Happy Sunday! I hope this finds you well. I am doing great. I even opened and was able to shelve some of the items that have been packed in boxes since we moved. I took a few things to Goodwill and out some aside for my garage sale in October. It's funny how you pack things up and then when you look at them, you wonder why you packed them. I think it was just the fact that I had to pack and get it out.
Part of my unpacking was to find some of my craft supplies. However, I didn't find what I was looking for. I need to keep going. I hate not knowing where things are. Before I could just go to that spot. I did order a she shed. It is one that you build yourself. I can't wait to get started. I will keep you posted.

Happy Thursday! How is your week going? Mine has been good although my washing machine died on Monday. They said it was a board and have to order one from Maytag. Hopefully, it will come soon. Thank goodness we have a warranty policy, because they said it was expensive. When it does get fixed, I have lots of laundry to do. Yikes!

Happy Sunday! We are back from our vacation in Vermont. What a wonderful time we had. The weather was beautiful. I so enjoyed time with my grand kids. One of the best things is having those magical moments when you share something just between you and them. Wow, I love those times.

Thursday Favorite Things

Happy Thursday! Here it is the last Thursday in August. It is coming to a close too quickly. We are in Vermont and the weather is delightful. Today was so beautiful with temps around 77. I am so loving this weather.
Hubby and my son are having a great time cutting down trees for firewood. That is their favorite past time. They have an 80 acre farm with many trees on it especially Maple ones so they have no problem with firewood.
Labor Day is right around the corner. Do you have anything special planned? we don't have any specific plans other than doing some work around the house and a cook out.

Happy Sunday. I hope your weekend has been wonderful. We are still having hot weather, but then again, it is Florida. It does make working outside difficult. We put up an awing over our window, and by the time we were done, I was dripping.
