Thursday Favorite Things

Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!

Happy Thursday and welcome to 8th Anniversary of Thursday Favorite Things! Can you believe it? I have enjoyed being part of this wonderful party and host with such wonderful friends.

My week has been good although my washing machine is still not working. They had to order a part, must be coming from China on a boat, might be in on Friday but probably not until next week. Almost 2 1/2 weeks. I should have bought a new one. I had to go to my daughters and do some laundry. I still have lots of laundry yet to do, but they can wait.

The weather has cooled down a little - around 88. I am so excited. Not exactly feeling like fall, but I will take it. Check out my wonderful features and then link up your posts. Have a great day.

Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Joe and our son, Joey, are on a trip to Pittsburgh for a few days...I am now on a little vacation!! I am really enjoying retirement!!

    1. Debbie,
That is so nice that your weather has cooled down and I know you are enjoying it. We have had the most amazing weekend. Breezy and a lot cooler. I am so excited, I even thought about decorating for fall.
Your porch looks so lovely decorated for fall and your flowers are gorgeous.
      Have a great Sunday.
      Hugs,
      Bev

I agree with you, we had been below 90 all weekend and I am loving it. I even started to decorate for fall. Your tablescape is so beautiful. You have such gorgeous pieces. I am always so jealous.
      Have a great Sunday.
      Hugs,

  3. Hi Bev! Congratulations to TFT and Katherine for this huge 8 year accomplishment - that is impressive and I can't even imagine the ripples of so much lovely inspiration spreading through the land. Fall decor is something that is so lovely to me even though I decorate so sparsely at home. I enjoy seeing the front doors and porches around me become these harvest wonderlands. Thanks so much for hosting today where I'm sharing fall, rustic, farmhouse, vintage decor inspiration in my posts at #59, #61, and #63. Wishing you gentleness, sweetness, warmth and peace right where you are.

It is hard to believe that it has been 8 years for our party. Bloggers have become more creative and post are so wonderful. I love that window with all of the vintage clothing. I have a few pieces myself. Your place is always so lovely.
      Have a wonderful Sunday.
      Hugs,
      Bev

I know 88 sounds hot but after 98 it is cool. This weekend it was around 85 and wonderful. I am totally enjoying it.
How did your daughter enjoy her gymnastics?
      Have a lovely Sunday.

  6. Oh, dear, I hope that washing machine part does make it in soon! Here in Southern Ontario the weather is just perfect at the moment; temperatures in the 70s, thunderstorms here and there but mostly sunny and not humid, my kind of weather! Thank you so much for featuring my Red Dough Enchiladas, Bev!! This week, I am sharing #128 Coffee from the Pot and #129 Pears in Brown Sugar Syrup. Have a great week!

I hope my washing machine part comes this week. It is driving me crazy. That pear tree is beautiful and loaded. What a great surprise. I love how you made a syrup for them. I bet they were tasty.
      Have a lovely Sunday.

  8. Thank you so much for featuring our Butterfinger Delight. It is such a nice and fluffy dessert. Congratulations on 8 years for the link party - here's to 8 (or maybe 80) more! I'm sorry that you haven't got your washer going yet. Sometimes it is better to buy a new appliance, but the problem is knowing that before you order the part and wait forever!!! Thank you for hosting the link party. Our links this week are: #141, #142, & #143. Have a great weekend!

    1. Amy,
My husband said to buy a new one, especially since I don't even like this one but I thought if they can fix it, why not. If I had known it would take this long, no question that I would have bought a new one. You live and learn.
Your Muddy Buddy cookies look amazing. I have never had one of those. Pinned.
      Have a lovely Sunday.

      Bev
