This sugar scrub makes a great DIY gift for Valentine’s day or any holiday.

Happiness Is Homemade Party
Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Party
Welcome to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party 411. Third week of January already but we are still excited about a new year of sharing, linking, reading, Pinning and inspiration. For January, Linda from A Labour of Life is our hostess for the month of January, so let’s get started
A Tablescape
I have found my grove and my feature routine so lets start with a tablescape. And this weeks feature caught my eye probably because I have been thinking hearts and flowers.Actually it was the napkin fold that caught me. What a creative heart napkin. Today thebright red heart caught my eye, A Rose Valentines table. Inspiration for the gal who loves to celebrate love. Debbee's Buzz really nailed this one.
A Tasty Mocktail, that's pretty too
Trying something new this week, check out this yummy looking mocktail from Everyday Savvy. This mocktail recipe is simple, easy to follow, and has just a few ingredients. Simply Juice Mixed Berry is a great base for this mocktail recipe. Great for all ages and truth be told I am thinking it aso would make a great cocktail for me with a spalsh of rum or vodka.
Valentine's Cocoa Bombs
These easy Valentine’s Cocoa Bombs are a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The cocoa bombs melt in hot water or milk and will burst into a hot chocolate in seconds! Really fun to watch. Raquel from Organized Island really caught my eye with this version of a Hot Chcolate bomb, and quite possibly has inspired me t try my hand.
DIY Lip Gloss
And along the crafty line how about this lip smacking lipgloss. Crazy thing it is made from Kool-aid and coconut oil, simple and easy. Plus perfect for a day of hearts to keep those lips smooth. The Socialite's Closet has a hit with this DIY.
Special Feature
and in a special back to back feature week, I could not et the fun Painted Mason Jars from Honey I'm Home pass by. There is just someting about this quick and easy craft that seaks to me. Probaby because it is quick and easy.

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Party
Happy Sunday! I am writing this early so I am not sure how Saturday and Sunday turn out, I am driving to Pittsburgh and of course they are expecting a major snow storm. I hope I can get there before it hits, but I do have lots of mountains to get over. Prayers would be nice. My Mom is not doing well so I need to be there. You may be wondering why I am driving in the winter, well, I have an antique desk that I am taking to my sister for her birthday. I have wanted to leave for a few weeks now, but of course I wait until there is to be snow. Maybe, it won't happen.
If you are in the path of this storm, be safe.

Happy New Year and welcome to 2022. it is time for the Happiness is Homemade Link Party #408. We are excited about a new year of sharing, linking, reading, pinning and inspiration.
It's our first blog party of 2022. Gosh, I am not sure where the time has gone. It seems like only yesterday, I was trying to select the first features of 2021 and now it's already a new year and hopefully a Brand New Year.
It was an interesting week, a lot of self reflection Bloggers sharing what they are working on and what their followers loved last year. It’s tough I want to say, selecting only 4 posts to highlight. which is why I want to remind everyone, take a moment and search through. This is a space to get inspired and help each other out

Happy November. Can you believe that it is November already? I hope you remembered to turn your clocks back (if you do that). I always hate this time of year. It gets dark so early. it seems to make the nights so long. My son lives in Vermont, and it gets dark around 4:30. That is really early. Do you like the time change?
Halloween is over and we are moving onto Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it) That usually means great recipes, lovely tablesettings, decor and pumpkin ideas. With that in mind, I picked some fall and Thanksgiving ideas. On to the features:

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Party
Happy Halloween, and welcome to Happiness is Homemade! We're so glad you're here to share and explore with us. I will miss the Halloween decorations, but I still have the fall ones that will be up through Thanksgiving.
We have had some really beautiful cool weather. it certainly reminds me of Halloween nights up north. We don't get many kids for Trick & Treat, just the neighbor's son. I miss the days when we had around 100 kids show up. Times have certainly changed. Do you still have lots of kids at your door?
Have a wonderful Halloween and a beautiful Sunday.

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Party
I am so glad you're here to join us for the 398th Happiness is Homemade link party! I have been loving seeing all of the fall and Halloween posts. It is so hard to pick only a few features, but know that we enjoy seeing all of your posts. Please continue to share them.
Before we get to the party, let's take a look at this week's features.
I thought I'd get a few non-Halloween features in this week, and one is this post by Krafty Planner. In it, she gives us 7 tips to practice an attitude of gratitude. With Thanksgiving coming up next month (in the US) and the state of the world, we can forget all of the good that we still have.
Along the same lines of that is these adorable worry jars by Must Have Mom. They are too cute. Little ones are affected by external forces just as much as we are, if not more. With this idea, your child can write down their worries and let them go, as they put the paper in the jar. I like her idea of making this a cares jar and giving them all to God.
Ok, now back to Halloween! These felt flags by She's Crafty Crafty are so cute. I have a ton of felt with nothing to do with it. Much of the sheets are fall colors, so this is the perfect project to use them up. She mentioned how cute these would be in the hands of a toddler in a wagon going trick or treating. I agree!
Lisa over at Fresh Vintage by Lisa S created these adorable printables to add to a bottle for a quick and easy Halloween decor piece. It looks perfect on her brown bottle. Who doesn't want to upcycle something you'd throw in the trash into beautiful decor?!
Y'all this next post is unbelievable. I found it and asked her to submit it to Happiness is Homemade. Linda from Life and created this Hallow-queens tablescape, and it's gorgeous! Who wouldn't die to be at this Halloween party?! Get it?
