    1. Good morning,
I am working on getting my garden in shape. I had lots of herbs planter in the fall and now they are about done. I cut them back so I will see if they grow again. I also started some butternut squash from seed.I will need to get them in the ground soon but need to get the new beds ready first. Thanks for all of the tips.

    1. Suchot,
Oh no, it feels like they just got here. You must be so sad to see they go. I know you enjoyed having them with you. I don't drink coffee any more but remember the days when I did. I still love the Chai Lattes. Now my daughter says she is a coffee snob. She only likes Starbucks but she buys the large whole beans at Costco and that saves her money. She rarely buys out these days because she makes it and takes it to work.

You must be so excited to have your daughter and grand baby back home. I see a lot of "Mimi" spoiling in the future. My blueberries are not blooming, I hope that does not mean NO blueberries this summer. Well, what can you do?

    1. Marilyn,
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your amazing recipes. I have some beef left over from a pot roast, so I am going to make your shepherds pie with that instead of BBQ brisket.
I know it will be good if the recipe came from you.

  10. Hi Bev! Thank you so much for featuring my post today alongside so many beautiful bloggers - can't wait to click thru. I'm sharing at #173, 174, and 175 today, and sending you hugs across the miles. I am soaking up sunshine and surf shack vibes on a beach bum type of vacation at the moment and loving every second. Can you hear the white waves crashing at the shore? It's music to my fairy on the prairie ears. Hahahaha. Peace to you, friend, and thanks for hosting.

    1. Barb,
I am not sure how you work and do blogging as well and make a quilt. That quilt turned out so awesome. I started one years ago and it is still in my drawer. I stitched each block and then I was to put it all together. I have all of the material but that has not happened. I thought when I retired, I would have plenty of time to finish it. Well, that has not happened. I do have several of my grandmother's quilts and one of my great, great aunts. I collect them when I can. I think the old ones are so beautiful and so much work. I appreciate that.
Have a lovely week and I am glad you stopped by.

You are so brave to have savored those chocolates by taking such great pictures. I would have them gone before any photos took place. lol! What a lovely way to remember them.
I have never had one this big before so we will see what happens.
