I am trying to get more baking done and to finish up my Christmas shopping. I mixed up some cookies last night so I could make them today.I am still trying to put together dinner menus for Christmas and other day since we are having lots of family coming into town. Happy Sunday. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. Can you believe that Christmas is only 10 days away. The excitement is growing and I have finally started to think of what food to make. My son and family are coming on the 20th and then my brother-in-law and family is coming on the 23rd so we will have a house full.
I bought a ham for Christmas day and a whole beef tenderloin for Christmas Eve, but other than that, no idea. I am still working on my cookies. I'm sure it will come together. Are you hosting family at Christmas?

In 10 days it will be Christmas. I am so excited - I feel like a little kid. I love this time of year. The decorations and lights makes everything look so festive. We like to drive around and look at all of the lights. Do you do that?

Thursday Favorite Things

Have you began your countdown to Christmas yet? It is coming up so fast. I am finally done decorating, and I was hoping to start my cookie baking but that hasn't happened yet. I did finally get my list together and I am going tomorrow to buy my ingredients.
The problem is I keep seeing all of these great and yummy desserts being posted that I want to make and my list is growing. I have to cut back if I am ever going to get it done.
My neighbor is moving and wants to have a garage sale this weekend and I am not sure I can fit it in. One more thing to add to my growing list. How is your holiday plans coming?

Can you believe that in 2 weeks it will be Christmas Eve? That just doesn't seem possible, but it is a fact. I finally finished decorating. I am so late this year, but at least I am done. A couple of more gifts and that will be done too. How is your week going? Are you in hectic Christmas mode?
