Happiness Is Homemade #198

It's time for Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #198!

How did your Thanksgiving meal turn out?  My husband and I have went camping with friends and had way too much food!

Now that turkey day is over, the features picked were solely based on interests with no theme in mind - and that's okay!

The Lou Lou Girls have some great ideas here with 7 Tips to Take Your Kids Skiing

My mom is a huge fan of Christmas trees - we always try to give/make one for her every holiday.  Here's a great tutorial to make Layered Ribbon Trees from Sparkle Living Blog.

I love a fun cocktail, but how fun is this?!?!?!?!?!?!  Try this recipe for Star Wars - The Last Jedi - Glowing Lightsaber Cocktails from Simply Darrling.

Want to make your hot chocolate a little bit tastier?  Perhaps this recipe for Hot Chocolate Sticks can fit the bill!  These could make a great teacher fit, too!

Finally, this recipe for The Best Crusted Salmon just looks outstanding - putting it on the list of new recipes to try for the winter.

It has been so much fun picking the features for this month's parties!  I hope you have enjoyed linking up and browsing - you ever know what you are going to find!

It's time for Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #197!

I've got some amazing picks for this week's party - turkey day is almost here!  Not quite ready?  Fear not and check out my featured posts for this week's party!

For my Thanksgiving Cocktail, I have chosen this fun twist on a Moscow mule, a Spiced Apple Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe from Home Cooking Recipes.  My husband is a big fan of this fun beverage right now!

Look at this beautiful and simple Leaf Napkin Fold for the Thanksgiving Table from Jenn at Clean & Scentsible.  This could be a fun activity to get any kids in the house involved in the festivities!

If you know me, you know about my Amish obsession.  So of COURSE I had to pick these Amish Cinnamon Rolls from Little House Living as my pick for a Thanksgiving Treat.

For my Thanksgiving Side, Simply Stacie published this amazing looking recipe for Stuffed Bacon Rolls.  She even takes amazing pictures!!!!

Here's my extra-just-because pick - Pina Colada Fluff - please pass me the spoon.  Thanks for this great recipe from Crafting A Family.

Turkey Curry

I love curry although my husband is not a big fan. He will eat it and doesn't complain, but it's not one of his favorites.

I think people either love curry or hate it. Which side are you on? If you hate it, leave out the curry. I did once and it was still really good. (That's another story)

Also if you are doing the low carb thing, this is great over cauliflower rice which I am showing here.
