Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great day. I have been in a spring mode since are weather has been so delightful. So I picked a few spring type posts and some things for Mother's day which is coming up soon.
I am still packing. Yikes, I think things are beginning to multiply. Just when I think I got things under control, more stuff pops up. We have been taking a load every weekend. So far, it has been barn things, extra stuff and garage stuff. Not looking forward to inside furniture. Taking 2 bedrooms and some living room things this weekend. May is going to be busy.

Happy Thursday! I almost didn't get the party ready. I made a mistake of leaving it until Wednesday night and while that seemed OK, I forgot that we were packing up the trailer with furniture because my husband is taking a load on Thursday to the house. I have decided that I am never moving again and if I do, I am leaving everything in the house but some clothes. lol!
My arms are so tired I could hardly type. The worst part is we will be doing this for the next 4 weekends. Yikes, we should have had someone move us. I keep throwing stuff away so I don't have to pack it. lol! This move my kill me, it certainly keeps me from eating! There has to be a silver lining, right?

Happy Thursday! I am so glad you stopped by. With Easter only a few days away, some of you maybe traveling. If so, please be safe. We have traveled to our other house where we will have Easter with my daughter and in-laws. We also brought a trailer with all of the stuff that I brought down from the attic. Basically, it is going in the attic at the new house. I was able to sort most of it, but the rest will just have to wait until later.

As the sale of our house moves forward, we decided to get down all of the items from the attic and take to our other house this week. On one side of the attic are all of my holiday decorations, on the other side were items from our house up north that was put there 16 years ago. Needless to say, we had no idea what we had. Yikes, that is crazy. Now I need to go through that stuff and see what to keep and what to sell or get rid of. Nothing like selling your house to clean it out!!

Just an update on the selling of our house. We had the inspection on Tuesday and nothing major to worry about. Still waiting for the appraisal. I am relaxing some but would like to get it all over so I can move forward. Still having to keep the house perfect with three dogs, is a little tough. They aren't dirty but I see paw marks everywhere and lots of dust bunnies. Enough about me, hope your week was good.

What a weekend we had. As you may remember, we were putting the house on the market on Friday.They came to do pictures after we left on Thursday and the first clients came Friday night. What a weekend. It was a mad house here and the people that came Friday night bought the house. We were not expecting it to go that quickly, one day Yikes, now I really have to think about packing up. I am taking a break until after the appraisal and inspection.

Update, the house went on the market on Friday and it has been so nice to be away from it for a few days. We celebrated my father-in-laws 90th birthday yesterday and all three of his sons and families were there. The boys surprised him be coming in for his birthday. We had lots of great food and laughter. They took him golfing 2 days and he beat all three of his boys both days. I hope I am still going that strong when I am that age.

Well, March is coming to an end. We are actually having cooler weather than we had in February. Crazy! Tomorrow is the day! What day you ask, the day our house goes on the market. It has been a whirl wind week getting it all organized. My realtor said I went way beyond. That's OK because we are heading out of town for 5 days and I am NOT going to do anything! It is my father-in-laws 90 birthday and all of his kids are coming in and we will have a great time. I put the house with my friend/realtor and let her do her thing.

Can you believe that spring is officially here. Yeah!! Not sure what type of weather you are having, but we have had rain. I guess that means spring is here in southern Florida. I bought some flowers and was not able to put them in pots since it rained all day yesterday and a big part of today. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I maybe I can get them transplanted. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. Maybe you celebrate or maybe you don't. I am flying today so no celebration for me just sitting at airports. I hated to leave the grand kids. It always seems as though the time goes so quickly. They were hoping that my flight would get cancelled for about a week, but that didn't happen. I am already looking forward to my next trip. Hope your week has a been a good one so far. Mine has been great. I am enjoying being with the grand kids in Vermont and the snow has not been too bad, although it has snowed almost every day since I arrived. I have not seen this much snow in a very long time. It is pretty to look at. It is supposed to warm up by Friday. Of course that means melting snow and slush. Not sure what I like better. It's always nice to know that I will be going home to warm Florida temps.

Normally I tell you that the weather is warm, but not today. I am in Vermont with the grand kids and that means cold and snow. Yikes! The wind is blowing and the snow is swirling - not my cup of tea. March is such a changeable month, in which we can see warm spring-like temperatures or late-season snowstorms. We had very warm temperatures here in south Florida at the beginning of the month and then a cold snap hit on Tuesday night. It actually felt good for a change but temps will go back up by the weekend. Many of you are experiencing crazy March temps too. Ash Wednesday is this week and begins the Lent season which will last for 40 days. Lent involves the dual disciplines of abstinence and fasting. During Lent many Christians commit to fasting or giving up certain foods, habits or luxuries - for example meat, cakes and sweets, alcohol, smoking - for its duration. I try to do 2 things during lent - give up sweets (which I love dearly) and read my Bible every night.

I am going Green to day! With St. Patrick's Day coming soon, I choose some awesome features that you might want to try.
I am still working on the house as we get it ready to sell. We are doing somethings that were NOT on the list, like putting in plants along the side of the house. We had some there but I didn't like them so we took them out. Yesterday, we decided to put some back. Now that bed is a little over 40 feet. We couldn't have picked something smaller to tackle and of course it is in the sun and it was a hot one today - 87 degrees. I felt like a lobster.

It seems as though another winter storm has hit the north. Hope you are keeping safe and warm. Sorry to say that we are having beautiful weather here in south Florida. I have been working outside in my flower beds and in my barn. It is so nice to spend all day outside. The dogs love it. They are so tired when we come in. They sleep well.
