Halloween Monster Cookies

Halloween Monster Cookies

These cookies will be the hit of your Halloween party. Aren't they adorable?  The best part - they are easy to assemble. The kids will have so much fun creating their own monsters.
Eclectic Red Barn: Halloween Monster Cookies

I had so much fun making these Halloween Monster Cookies. I loved seeing all of their goofy faces staring at me. Maybe I should have called them "Goofy Monster Cookies" since they are not scary.

I made mine with chocolate chip cookies but you could use any kind of cookie. You could even buy cookies to save time.

I purchased a can of white frosting and then divided it up and added pink, green and purple food coloring.

I used miniature marshmallows for teeth and the nose. For the eyes, I found gummy ones and malt ones at Walmart.

I spread a little frosting on the bottom cookie, added a few marshmallows for teeth and then put another cookie on top.  I added some frosting on the top cookie and then added the eyes and a nose.

I am not listing a recipe for the cookies, since you can use any type of cookie you want. If you want my homemade chocolate chip recipe, you can find it here

You can make yours as goofy as you want, but I am sure the kiddos will love eating them no matter how they turn out.
