Tiny - Our Little Miracle!

Sorry to post again about Tiny, but it has been a month since our Tiny went into the hospital so to speak. What an ordeal! It is like having a very sick child. Maybe this sounds funny, but that is how we feel about her. In a previous post, Tiny was doing better and scheduled to come home when she had another spell.

We have the greatest vet. She actually took her home (since we had to leave her there when we returned to Davie) She sent pictures of her in bed with them and the cats and spent so much time trying to get her to stand. If you are looking for a vet that is fabulous, caring and absolutely incredible then check out Dr. Cassidy @ Eustis Vetineary Hospital.

Just look at that face - so adorable.

Having her home with her playmates was the best medicine. They have moved her to keep up with them. When they get excited, so does she but she can't run as fast as they do and she still runs sideways. Sometimes she gets going so fast that she tumbles herself. It is rather gut  wrenching to see. Her back left leg is not strong yet although it is coming. We hope that one day she will be her old self pyhsically . She certainly is feisty these days and has her bark back.

She can hold her head up although she does shake. She lost so much weight and didn't have any to loose, but she is eating well and gaining some of it back.

Here she is standing on all four legs for the first time, although most of the time she eats lying down.

They still have no idea what caused her issues and I guess we never will.

She likes to cuddle  up with the other dogs as you can see her here with Caleigh.  Caleigh is really racked out.

Thanks to everyone who sent prayers. You can't begin to know how much that meant to me. If you can, she still needs  them.

  1. No need to apologize for posting about your sweet fur baby. They are more than just animals, they're part of the family and when they hurt we hurt. Glad to hear she's doing better and you certainly can have more prayers said for her. She looks adorable in those pictures

  3. I just found your site and really LOVE the recipe for the macaroons! There really isn't anything much better than chocolate, coconut and almonds, always has been one of my very favorite combos!!! I'm so touched by your story about your furbaby Tiny. My hubby & I have no kids but our 4-legged family ARE our kids and you have no reason at all to apologize <3 Sending positive thoughts and prayers for her full recovery. God Bless!!!
