It's Thursday and I remembered what day it was! Can you believe that I am still unpacking boxes. Just when I think I have things a little organized, I find additional things that I have to find places for. Sometimes, I just can't find a place so I put it in a box for a yard sale. Yard sale boxes are adding up. Oh, well, I guess there is a yard sale in my future.

Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
It is official, we sold our house, all papers were sign on Wednesday, and I am in our new one. I am having a hard time getting everything to fit. The kitchen cabinets are not as deep as my old ones and they are not as wide. I keep moving items around to see what works the best. I am sure I will find a way to get it all in there. It is something I just didn't think about - different cabinet sizes.
Hope you are having a great week as we move into the first weekend in June. Can you believe it? This year is going way to fast!

Happy Thursday to everyone. I am so sorry that I did not get to respond to your comments last week. Since I went to Pittsburgh for the weekend, it was so late by the time I got back late on Sunday night. But I am here this week so I will be answering your comments.
I packed all day today and we put a few things into the trailer. Tomorrow we will pack everything up and then leave on Friday morning. It is down to the wire now.

Welcome to Thursday. The weeks seem to be flying by. 12 more days until we have to be out of our house. It's coming down to the wire and we are getting there, but I seem to be fading. I am heading to Pittsburgh this weekend to see my grandson in a hockey tournament. I am so excited to watch him play and also to see my Mom and sister. It will also be so nice NOT to be packing our unpacking.

Another week of packing, loading and then driving and unloading. We came in tonight at 9:40 after packing and I realized I needed to get my party ready. I didn't feel like eating so just had some yogurt. I need to finish the party and go to bed. I ache all over. Hope you are doing better than me. :)

Can you believe that it is May? I am in my May moving countdown. This weekend we are moving two bedrooms and the living room to the other house. I have been packing and sorting. Happy Thursday! I almost didn't get the party ready. I made a mistake of leaving it until Wednesday night and while that seemed OK, I forgot that we were packing up the trailer with furniture because my husband is taking a load on Thursday to the house. I have decided that I am never moving again and if I do, I am leaving everything in the house but some clothes. lol!
My arms are so tired I could hardly type. The worst part is we will be doing this for the next 4 weekends. Yikes, we should have had someone move us. I keep throwing stuff away so I don't have to pack it. lol! This move my kill me, it certainly keeps me from eating! There has to be a silver lining, right?

Happy Thursday! I am so glad you stopped by. With Easter only a few days away, some of you maybe traveling. If so, please be safe. We have traveled to our other house where we will have Easter with my daughter and in-laws. We also brought a trailer with all of the stuff that I brought down from the attic. Basically, it is going in the attic at the new house. I was able to sort most of it, but the rest will just have to wait until later.

Just an update on the selling of our house. We had the inspection on Tuesday and nothing major to worry about. Still waiting for the appraisal. I am relaxing some but would like to get it all over so I can move forward. Still having to keep the house perfect with three dogs, is a little tough. They aren't dirty but I see paw marks everywhere and lots of dust bunnies. Enough about me, hope your week was good.

What a weekend we had. As you may remember, we were putting the house on the market on Friday.They came to do pictures after we left on Thursday and the first clients came Friday night. What a weekend. It was a mad house here and the people that came Friday night bought the house. We were not expecting it to go that quickly, one day Yikes, now I really have to think about packing up. I am taking a break until after the appraisal and inspection.

Well, March is coming to an end. We are actually having cooler weather than we had in February. Crazy! Tomorrow is the day! What day you ask, the day our house goes on the market. It has been a whirl wind week getting it all organized. My realtor said I went way beyond. That's OK because we are heading out of town for 5 days and I am NOT going to do anything! It is my father-in-laws 90 birthday and all of his kids are coming in and we will have a great time. I put the house with my friend/realtor and let her do her thing.

Can you believe that spring is officially here. Yeah!! Not sure what type of weather you are having, but we have had rain. I guess that means spring is here in southern Florida. I bought some flowers and was not able to put them in pots since it rained all day yesterday and a big part of today. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow so I maybe I can get them transplanted. Hope your week has a been a good one so far. Mine has been great. I am enjoying being with the grand kids in Vermont and the snow has not been too bad, although it has snowed almost every day since I arrived. I have not seen this much snow in a very long time. It is pretty to look at. It is supposed to warm up by Friday. Of course that means melting snow and slush. Not sure what I like better. It's always nice to know that I will be going home to warm Florida temps.

March is such a changeable month, in which we can see warm spring-like temperatures or late-season snowstorms. We had very warm temperatures here in south Florida at the beginning of the month and then a cold snap hit on Tuesday night. It actually felt good for a change but temps will go back up by the weekend. Many of you are experiencing crazy March temps too. It seems as though another winter storm has hit the north. Hope you are keeping safe and warm. Sorry to say that we are having beautiful weather here in south Florida. I have been working outside in my flower beds and in my barn. It is so nice to spend all day outside. The dogs love it. They are so tired when we come in. They sleep well.
