I love this time of year as I drool over all of the fall projects and decor. I am still having problems getting in the mood for fall with the weather being so hot. I get excited about it in the evening and then the next day it is so hot that I can't quite get in the mood. I guess I will just have to pretend it is cooler. Is any body else having this problem, or is it just me? I hope someone else is feeling like me. Oh please!

Happy Thursday! How is everyone doing today? I hope you are well and healthy. All is good on our front. Staying in and working on this and that, or not much of this and a little of that. lol!
I had seen lots of fall things at JoAnn's and ended up buying a fall throw and a fall pillow. I even placed it on my couch with the other sort of beige/brown pillows. I guess that is my fall decorating for now. I am OK with fall and Halloween but then I saw some Christmas stuff - not ready for that. I think it makes the time go too fast, but that is just me. How do you feel about that?

Happy Thursday! How are you my friends? I hope you are doing well as we near the middle of August. Temps in Florida are usually hot but in talking with family up north, the high temps are not welcome. What a hot summer the north has had this year. Even my son in Vermont is dealing with temps in the low 90s. That is very unusual for them. I guess the worst part has been the lack of rain. So what are your temps like? Do you like hot weather?

Happy Thursday! Hope you are all enjoying your days. I want to apologize to everyone that has made comments on my posts. This past couple of weeks with our Louie being sick has consumed most of my time. Yesterday, he seemed to be doing so much better and then he had he acupuncture treatment. They said he would be sore Tuesday night and some yesterday.
Well, he was very bad yesterday, to the point of not being able to walk without falling. The vet increased his meds and if he is not better this morning, he has to go back to the vets. I hope there has not been a set back. Poor little guy, you can tell he is in pain. He just wants you to hold him and then he gives you these sad eyes. it breaks your heart.

Happy Thursday! Here we are with only two days left of July. August is approaching and I know we have talked about this before, but August means the beginning of school or at least it sort of does. Schools start dates are being delayed, the type of education being offered has changed - multiple choices, and each country is doing something different. What a crazy time. I feel for all of you with kids in school and having to make all of these decisions. It can't be easy. I'm sure you will make the right choice for your family.

Happy Thursday! Can you believe that there are only 9 more days in this month? This summer is flying by. August will be here soon. Usually, as August approaches, that means school will be starting. I don't know about where you are, but schools have postponed the start date until the end of August. They have also given parents the opportunity to choose what type of education they want for their children.
What is happening in your area? I know that this must be a difficult situation for parents. I am glad that I no longer have kids in school. it certainly is a different scenario.

Happy Thursday! I hope you woke to a glorious day. I certainly did. I was busy yesterday sewing. I am working on a "comforter/spread" for a day bed. The dogs were playing outside, actually barking outside. Dachshunds were born to hunt and mine live up to that. They love to hunt geckos and when they see one they go crazy and start barking and keep barking. They can go on hours an hour. Sometimes, I have to bring them in(usually by offering a treat) just so they can relax, especially in this heat.

Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well. We are having a lot of rain here in central Florida, but then again, it is hurricane season when the rain usually comes. The nice part is that it usually only rains for a few hours and then the sun comes out. My garden seems to love it.
How is your weather? I know that up north the temperatures have been quite hot. Mu Mom said it was to be 94 in Pittsburgh today. That is actually hotter than here in Florida. They did say that the north would be much hotter this summer. Those of you up north, is that the case? Well, wherever you are, I hope you are enjoying your summer.

Happy Thursday! Can you believe this is the last Thursday in June. This month seemed to fly by. After being at home these last few months, we have decided to take a little road trip to the farm today. Nothing exciting but I love to go there, it is so quiet. The dogs love it because they can roam and not get into trouble, well hopefully not. As I mentioned in a previous post, my brother-in-law manages a farm that has both peaches and pecans. My Mom lives in Western PA and it was almost 91 degrees which was about what we had here in Florida. They did say that the temperatures were going to be above average this summer. Happy Thursday! Can you believe that we are almost half way through May. I think we are going to have one of those years where it flies by. Maybe it is because we are having so much work done on our home. We have had more contractors here than you can imagine. One day, we had three different ones all working at the same time. I think I just want it all to be done.
The pool is done but there is still so much to do around it and the yard. By Friday, all the sod will be done and the side patio. The last contractor will not be here for another 2 weeks. That's OK, I can enjoy the yard being completed. No more sand and dirt.

Everyone here seems to be really trying, they are wearing masks out and staying the 6 feet distance. I am not sure how true that is since I have not been out, but when hubby went he said that was the case. Are you wearing a mask? I know that there are several posts on how to make them.
