Happy Thursday! How is your week going? Mine has finally slowed a little. We had concrete pored for a new walkway, a back patio and a circular driveway. It had been off and on for about 10 days. I can't believe that it is Thursday Again. Boy, these weeks are flying by. Hurricane Barry came today and brought with it lots of rain. The temps dropped although it was still sticky but at least it was cooler - 89 instead of the high 90's. I'll take it. Has your weather cooled off or is it still hot?

It has been another busy week for me - they are preparing our yard for a new patio, sidewalk and circular driveway. It seems like they are everywhere - front and back of the house. The dogs are not sure where to go, but they still bark at all of the men that arrive.

Just when I think I have things a little organized, I find additional things that I have to find places for. Sometimes, I just can't find a place so I put it in a box for a yard sale. It is official, we sold our house, all papers were sign on Wednesday, and I am in our new one. I am having a hard time getting everything to fit. The kitchen cabinets are not as deep as my old ones and they are not as wide. I keep moving items around to see what works the best. I am sure I will find a way to get it all in there. It is something I just didn't think about - different cabinet sizes.

Happy Thursday to everyone. I am so sorry that I did not get to respond to your comments last week. Since I went to Pittsburgh for the weekend, it was so late by the time I got back late on Sunday night. But I am here this week so I will be answering your comments.
I packed all day today and we put a few things into the trailer. Tomorrow we will pack everything up and then leave on Friday morning. It is down to the wire now.

Welcome to Thursday. The weeks seem to be flying by. 12 more days until we have to be out of our house. It's coming down to the wire and we are getting there, but I seem to be fading. I am heading to Pittsburgh this weekend to see my grandson in a hockey tournament. I am so excited to watch him play and also to see my Mom and sister. It will also be so nice NOT to be packing our unpacking.

Another week of packing, loading and then driving and unloading. We came in tonight at 9:40 after packing and I realized I needed to get my party ready. Can you believe that it is May? I am in my May moving countdown. This weekend we are moving two bedrooms and the living room to the other house. I have been packing and sorting. Happy Thursday! I almost didn't get the party ready. I made a mistake of leaving it until Wednesday night and while that seemed OK, I forgot that we were packing up the trailer with furniture because my husband is taking a load on Thursday to the house. I have decided that I am never moving again and if I do, I am leaving everything in the house but some clothes. lol!
My arms are so tired I could hardly type. The worst part is we will be doing this for the next 4 weekends. Yikes, we should have had someone move us. I keep throwing stuff away so I don't have to pack it. lol! This move my kill me, it certainly keeps me from eating! There has to be a silver lining, right?

Happy Thursday! I am so glad you stopped by. With Easter only a few days away, some of you maybe traveling. If so, please be safe. We have traveled to our other house where we will have Easter with my daughter and in-laws. We also brought a trailer with all of the stuff that I brought down from the attic. Basically, it is going in the attic at the new house. I was able to sort most of it, but the rest will just have to wait until later.

Just an update on the selling of our house. We had the inspection on Tuesday and nothing major to worry about. Still waiting for the appraisal. I am relaxing some but would like to get it all over so I can move forward. Still having to keep the house perfect with three dogs, is a little tough. They aren't dirty but I see paw marks everywhere and lots of dust bunnies. Enough about me, hope your week was good.

What a weekend we had. As you may remember, we were putting the house on the market on Friday.They came to do pictures after we left on Thursday and the first clients came Friday night. What a weekend. It was a mad house here and the people that came Friday night bought the house. We were not expecting it to go that quickly, one day Yikes, now I really have to think about packing up. I am taking a break until after the appraisal and inspection.

Well, March is coming to an end. We are actually having cooler weather than we had in February. Crazy! Tomorrow is the day! What day you ask, the day our house goes on the market. It has been a whirl wind week getting it all organized. My realtor said I went way beyond. That's OK because we are heading out of town for 5 days and I am NOT going to do anything! It is my father-in-laws 90 birthday and all of his kids are coming in and we will have a great time. I put the house with my friend/realtor and let her do her thing.
