Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was good even if it was quiet hot. Looks like we might get some relief this week. That would be great. We worked on some yard projects, pulled weeds and pruned some hedges. After that it was pool time.

Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a rather quiet one, just hubby and me mostly. My daughter came over Friday and today for dinner. I spent most of the weekend working on peaches. I made lots of things with the peaches we brought back from the farm. I will be sharing some of my recipes soon. Right now, I don't even want to look at a peach and I still have more left.
How was your weekend? Most of the places around here cancelled fireworks but it seems that many bought their own since we heard lots of fireworks going off last night. What about in your area?

Sometimes you don't realize how much you need a rest and get rejuvenated. We have been going almost non stop on the house and it wasn't until we got here that I realized I need a little rest. The weather has been lovely and it is so peaceful. What a nice way to rejuvenate the soul. I hope you are finding some quiet time in your life.

Happy Sunday my friends and a special Happy Father's Day for all of you Dads out there. I hope you had a wonderful day. For a Father's Day gift I gave hubby my help. We worked the last two days in building shelves and a work bench in his shed. He was so excited. Of course, we are both exhausted now and too tired to cook, sounds like takeout.

We are having a little get together to celebrate hubby's birthday(which is over), daughter's hubby's birthday and father's day since we were not together before and won't be on father's day. Happy Memorial Weekend. What are your plans for this holiday? I saw so many campers when I was coming back from Ft. Lauderdale. Some said they were going no matter what. We are home. Just doing things around the house. I had to weed my garden, replant some flowers and fixed a broken plant stand. We did Thai takeout last night but the rest of the weekend we will be grilling out.

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you are enjoying your special day even though it is probably different from other years. My inlaws are here and so is my brother-in-law. So I told the men that they were making dinner for the ladies. Thank goodness my brother-in-law is a great cook because hubby is so so. They planed the menu so I am sure it will be fine. Happy Sunday! It's another day in the neighborhood or maybe I should say another day at home. I ventured out yesterday and went to Target. I thought it might not be so busy. Wrong, people were everywhere and only myself and 2 others had masks on. The sales people didn't and neither did the check out people. What are people thinking? Happy Sunday! I hope you are all doing well. We are having some gentle rain. We had some on Wednesday of last week and that was the first in 4-5 weeks. It is very dry here in Central Florida. So some outdoor projects are on hold for today. That's probably a good thing, get some stuff done inside.
I would love it if you shared what you have been doing this past week or the weekend. I love hearing how you are handling being at home. My Mom lives in a senior apartment building and they closed it on Saturday. No one is allowed to visit her. My sister is taking it hard since they spend a lot of time together when she is not working. At least she is healthy and doing great. She will be 95 at the end of this month.

Happy Sunday dear friends. Well, we continue to be in lockdown mode. I know more and more country are moving to lockdown. Being at home all the time can be trying, especially when you have young children or even teenagers. It certainly is an adjustment. Being here in central Florida, we are able to be outside all the time so that helps.

Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope your weekend was awesome. Mine was great although a little stressful. I mentioned before that we are having a pool put in and we have been getting the yard ready for that. So on Saturday we had to go and pick out the pavers for around the pool and the tile that goes around at the top of the pool (on the inside) and on the waterfall at the back. Then we were looking for porcelain tile for our patio outside that will connect with the pool. I think it is all going to work, but you look at these little parts and try to visualize what it will look like in large quantities and how it will all go together. As we were picking out the materials with our pool designer, he said he was starting on Monday. I just looked at him. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time outdoors getting ready for Monday.
I don't usually show posts of construction, but maybe I will show a little about what is happening. How was your weekend?
