Happy Sunday. Hope you had a lovely weekend and wishing you a lovely week ahead. So we decided to do some yard work. Seemed harmless, but went down hill after I wasp bite me on Friday afternoon. I am very allergic but couldn't find my epipen. Took some Benadryl. My right hand started to swell and by evening, I had to work to get my ring off before serious problems set in. By Saturday morning, my hand was totally swollen and almost to my elbow. What a day I had. It is starting to go down now and my arm looks better. That pretty much was my weekend.

Happy Sunday. Hope you had a lovely weekend and wishing you a lovely week ahead. I spent the week unpacking boxes. The main problem I had was I did not have all of the kitchen boxes, so I would put things away and then find another couple of boxes and I would have to move things around again. There are still some things I can't find.
Hubby came home this weekend and we put up some things I needed help with. It is slowly coming together.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. It is a special time to honor our fallen men and women who served our country.
My house update: we finally moved all of our possessions here on Friday. We were too tired to unload then so we did that yesterday. All of the furniture is in but there are boxes everywhere. We spent the night last night. It is going to take awhile to unpack but at least we are finally moved.

It is a beautiful Sunday here in Pittsburgh. I had hoped to enjoy some cooler weather while I was here but today it is 85. Although that is cooler than Florida, it is still warm. Oh well, it is still enjoyable. The best part was that I did not have to pack or unpack boxes. That's a good thing! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great day. The weather was really hot here today. We had some rain over the weekend and then the sun came out today.
Update on our moving front - we took another load up over the weekend and I was able to get one of the spare bedrooms put together. I just needed to have one room sort of organized. Everything else is so unorganized. Maybe one of these days I will share some pictures.

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great day. I have been in a spring mode since are weather has been so delightful. So I picked a few spring type posts and some things for Mother's day which is coming up soon.
I am still packing. Yikes, I think things are beginning to multiply. Just when I think I got things under control, more stuff pops up. We have been taking a load every weekend. So far, it has been barn things, extra stuff and garage stuff. Not looking forward to inside furniture. Taking 2 bedrooms and some living room things this weekend. May is going to be busy.

As the sale of our house moves forward, we decided to get down all of the items from the attic and take to our other house this week. On one side of the attic are all of my holiday decorations, on the other side were items from our house up north that was put there 16 years ago. Needless to say, we had no idea what we had. Yikes, that is crazy. Now I need to go through that stuff and see what to keep and what to sell or get rid of. Nothing like selling your house to clean it out!!

Update, the house went on the market on Friday and it has been so nice to be away from it for a few days. We celebrated my father-in-laws 90th birthday yesterday and all three of his sons and families were there. The boys surprised him be coming in for his birthday. We had lots of great food and laughter. They took him golfing 2 days and he beat all three of his boys both days. I hope I am still going that strong when I am that age.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. Maybe you celebrate or maybe you don't. I am flying today so no celebration for me just sitting at airports. I hated to leave the grand kids. It always seems as though the time goes so quickly. They were hoping that my flight would get cancelled for about a week, but that didn't happen. I am already looking forward to my next trip. Normally I tell you that the weather is warm, but not today. I am in Vermont with the grand kids and that means cold and snow. Yikes! The wind is blowing and the snow is swirling - not my cup of tea. Ash Wednesday is this week and begins the Lent season which will last for 40 days. Lent involves the dual disciplines of abstinence and fasting. During Lent many Christians commit to fasting or giving up certain foods, habits or luxuries - for example meat, cakes and sweets, alcohol, smoking - for its duration. I try to do 2 things during lent - give up sweets (which I love dearly) and read my Bible every night.

I am going Green to day! With St. Patrick's Day coming soon, I choose some awesome features that you might want to try.
I am still working on the house as we get it ready to sell. We are doing somethings that were NOT on the list, like putting in plants along the side of the house. We had some there but I didn't like them so we took them out. Yesterday, we decided to put some back. Now that bed is a little over 40 feet. We couldn't have picked something smaller to tackle and of course it is in the sun and it was a hot one today - 87 degrees. I felt like a lobster.
