Welcome dear friends. I hope your week. I am enjoying my time with my Mom and sister. We did some shopping and visited several antique stores. I had to limit my purchases so that they would fit into my suitcase. At my favorite store, I bought some Christmas things for next year. I couldn't resist.

It has been a busy couple of days trying to get the Christmas decorations down. Yesterday was so beautiful and I wanted to get things in before I head to Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Welcome dear friends. Here we are only a few more days to Christmas. My daughter took me out to lunch today and then we looked in the stores of our small town. It was a lovely day. Since I have been done for a few weeks, we just enjoyed looking.
The weather was nice but it looks like we will be having a cold Christmas here in Florida although most of the country will be cold as well. I keep telling people, I might be making snow angels after all. lol! Try and stay warm!

I made it back home on Sunday. I had a wonderful visit. I had to be home by Sunday since I am having cataract surgery on Tuesday. I am trying to get the party done early since I am not sure how much I will be able to see with all of the dilation.
Everyone says it is a piece of cake, I hope so. I am a little nervous.

Now that we are in November, it will be time for Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This time of year always seem to fly by so quickly.
Our little town has already started to decorate for Christmas. It was funny seeing Christmas decor while the kids were off collecting Halloween candy from all the stores. I guess you have to do both.

What a storm. Listening to the wind was so scary. You just wanted it to stop. Fortunately, this week has seen cooler temps and no rain which will help many. We still have thousands of homes without power, although it gets better every day.

I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words about my granddaughter. She is doing much better although she still has some green and purple bruising on her face. On the road to recovery.
Welcome to Fall. Oops, the first day of fall is actually, Thursday not Wednesday. Sorry! Can you believe that fall is here? I am looking forward to it. I actually got my fall decorations down and started to decorate.
I wish it felt like fall, but hopefully one of these days. I must admit, we have had a few cooler days.
I would like to share a story about my granddaughter. She is a freshman in high school. She was chosen to be on the junior lacrosse team and was doing quite well until last Saturday when she got hit with a stick in the face.
My son, scooped her up and headed to the emergency room. He said she was a trooper through it all.
I won't share her picture, but she busted her lip, has a broken nose, along with several other cuts. I felt so bad for her.
Despite the warm weather, I have begun to work on some fall decor. I am jealous of all the wonderful fall and Halloween posts you have been sharing, so I decided to make a Halloween decoration.

Here it is September. Can you believe it? I see all of the fall and Halloween decor ideas and I am trying to get there, but it is hard when it is so hot. Maybe I should turn my air-conditioning down and make some Halloween items. lol!
Welcome dear friends. Well, I remembered it was Tuesday. lol! I am heading down to my friends house today and will spend the night with her. Our birthdays are 6 days apart so we will be celebrating them today. A little girl time is always such a welcome delight.
