Halloween Boo Sign

Halloween Boo Sign

I am still trying to make some Halloween crafts and this one was easy and very inexpensive. I had everything on hand so it doesn't get better than that - zero dollars.

Supplies you need for this project:
pallet board
black yarn
black, white and orange paint
4 wooden beads
leather lace or some kind of heavy string or cording

1. Using just one board from a pallet, cut three pieces. Mine were 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.

2. I drilled a hole through each of the wooden blocks. Half way down/the middle of each block. You will need this to put the string through.

3. I painted 2 of them black on all sides. and one was painted orange on all sides. (I just used small jars of paint from Walmart that I had.) Let them dry.

4. I then used the white paint to write the letters on each block. I just did it free hand.

5. I had these four white beads so I painted two of them orange.

6. I used the black yarn to create two tassels.

7. I had this leather yard kit and used the black to put all of the pieces together. You can use anything for your string. Just make sure it is strong.

8. I tied the tassels onto the leather lace and then it was done. Here it is on the mantle.

I hope you enjoyed this craft project.
