Thursday Favorite Things

Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!

Happy Thursday!  I have moved my blog to a "com". I am still trying to get it all worked out. If you have any problems, please let me know.

I hope this finds you well. I can't believe that it is Thursday already. Seems like it was just Monday. If your kiddos are back in school, how are you adjusting? If they aren't in school yet, are you getting ready?  August was always a different kind of month. It was still summer and we had to think of school, but didn't want to. My kids use to say, why do I have to think about school clothes when it is so hot? They would drag out going shopping as long as possible. it would have been nice to have been able to shop online back then.

Check out my wonderful features and then link up your posts. Have a great day.

Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

  2. Beverly, I was delighted to see my Greek theme tablescape featured today! Thanks ever so much for the lovely compliment of choosing my post. Today I'm adding #39 of our amazing journey to and exploration of Machu Pichu --- and meeting llamas! #40 is a tropical tablescape to extend summer outdoor dining through Labor Day. Still mulling over my third post to share, probably a DIY.

You are welcome for the feature and sounds like you have good reason to slow down with the new grand baby. She is so cute. I would spend all of my time just holding her. I loved that sign that the beggar was holding. It made me laugh.
      Have a lovely weekend.

  4. Hi, Bev! I have two daughters, so although sad that summer was almost over, they were also excited to go shopping and buy new clothes. Thank you for hosting another great TFT party; this week I am sharing #82 Tampico Style Grilled Steak. Have a great week!

    1. Irene,
That is so nice that your daughters wanted to go shopping. I think girls are better at that than boys, although my grandson is a fashion guru. I love your dishes and that grilled steak sounds go yummy. When my daughter lived in LA there was a corner place that made the best Carne Asada. I would always get it when I went there.
      Have a lovely weekend.

    1. Lisa,
I have no idea why you can visit on Wednesday. That is strange, but I have have some weird things happening on my site. Now that I have gone to .com, things are even more crazy as I try to get it straightened out.
I love your lavender sachets. They are so special. I wish I could be harvesting lavender. I miss having that plant. I had many of them when I lived up north.
Those bags are going to be a huge hit.
      Have a great weekend.

    1. Suchot,
That pasta salad does look yummy. Great tips on kids and their tantrums. I remember once when my son was little and he was having a tantrum, I carefully looked at him and said, please stop crying or I will give you something to really cry about. probably not the best thing to say, but that was then. he did stop crying.
      Have a lovely weekend.
      Hugs,
