So glad to hear you are doing better. I know it will be awhile before you can zip around, but it will come sooner than you think. Just take care of yourself and enjoy your lovely home and those beautiful stained glass in the windows.

  2. Mornin', Bev! I'm thrilled to join you again today and so grateful to be featured on your beautiful blog. What a gift to see that other feature about decorating with dough bowls--I need inspiration for displaying mine! I'm sharing my bedroom which too a lot of work to renovate and transform into what it is today - at #62. Thanks for the opportunity, and best to you as you continue to feather your new nest...it will be lovely!

    1. Michele,
You are so welcome for the feature on Thursday Favorite Things. I am always drooling over your home. It is so lovely. I am sure one day, mine will be done and I will be happy with it. I am trying to pair down but this new house has no storage. Not sure where to put most things. Right now, just trying to get things moved. Your bedroom is lovely, you have done a fabulous job.
      Have a great weekend.
      Hugs,
      Bev

    1. Irene,
I love reading your stories and learning the history. Sometimes we don't know the story behind foods, like nachos. Your nachos look yummy!
Thanks for sharing, I have pinned them.
      Have a great weekend.

    1. Lisa,
What a lovely and touching gift for Mother's Day. We had a player piano as well so I know those rolls. That is my favorite song too. She is going to love it.

I love Michele's home too, so serene. I love her bedroom. I love all of the beautiful spring colors that you can use to brighten up your rooms and those pillows are great.

  6. Moving is not for the faint of heart for sure. When we did it almost 2 years ago, we both lost weight and had to come to the realization that we owned way to much stuff!

    1. Angie,
So delighted you stopped by. Moving is going well. Just wish it was over. A few more weeks. Then put the other house together.
Love all of your posts with sights and smells of spring. Flowers, butterflies, birds and recipes. That mango/strawberry desserts looks great. I need to try it when I get a chance.

  9. Thanks so much Bev for the feature of my road trip hacks! My husband is going on a work/fun trip in a month and my daughter and I originally were going to drive there with him (a long drive). We're not able to go this time (my elderly cat is sick with cancer and I won't leave her right now). There will be more road trips in the future though! I linked up this week at #128 - my no-knead olive bread. :)

I am so sorry to hear about your cat, That is never easy. We have lost a number of pets, and it is always so hard. They become one of the family.
I am sure you will have lots of other road trips.
      Love olive bread. Yummy!
