Keeping the brain focused!

Few things are more unnerving than the memory lapses most of us experience as we grow older. Younger people forget things all the time, of course, but for those of us getting older, these lapses  call up the threat of permanent memory loss.

So what can we do to help our brain? There are many supplements that can aid in helping improve memory. Many herbs, vitamins and fish oil have been promoted to help improve memory. One such supplement on the market is HCF  - happy, calm and focused.

I received this supplement and was asked to review it. The comments here are my own. I have taken it now for 30 days and wanted to share my results with you.

As for happy and calm - this was not very noticeable since I am usually quite happy - I am retired, how can I not be. lol! Along with that, I am also rather calm. So that left focused.

Our street in Eustis is having a  yard sale this Saturday and I really wanted to get rid of some things. I don't know how much is attributed to the supplement or not, but I have been in overdrive. I have been cleaning out drawers, closets and cabinets. What a good feeling it is to be getting rid of "stuff". I have washed, cleaned and labeled tons of items. I am so ready for Saturday.

My husband said, "you are really focused on doing this". I had to agree so I must confess that the "F" part of HCF is really kicking in. I don't think I have been this focused on a yard sale ever.

As we get older, we all want to do what we can keep our brain active and to avoid any mental decline. Anything that can help that process, we are willing to do. Supplements can be one answer. Exercise and eating right are also key factors. Finally, keep your brain active by learning something new and playing games that require concentration or analytic thinking.

I am not an expert in this area, but as I am getting older, it certainly is a topic that is high on my list. I think the fear of developing Alzheimer’s is scary, especially if you have had to deal with a family member that has it. My mother-in-law has early stages of it and it is very sad. I know that I am trying to do all I can be keep my brain active and engaged.

Over 132 professionals have accepted the HCF Challenge—See how you stack up! Answer the 25 questions on their website and then see how you compare to others.

You can also get a 14-day free trail offer of HCF on their website.

So keep your brain active, exercise, eat right and see if HCF is right for you.
