Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was very nice and very quiet. My treatment on Monday left me very tired by Thursday so I relaxed a lot over the weekend. Feeling better today and off for another treatment.

Happy Thursday dear friends. It's the first day of summer. For many up north, it has been really hot. In fact, you have been hotter than we are here in Florida. That is so weird.
Kids are finally out of school and summer vacation begins. I hope you have a great summer.

Welcome to the party. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was nice. They got my port working and all went well on Monday. They did a cardiac ultrasound today to make sure my heart is functioning good. It is! The meds can affect your heart.

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was very nice and celebrated Father's Day a little on the quite side. I took hubby out for breakfast and made him a cake. I was a little too tired to have lots of family over for dinner. I made some some despite the fact that it was 89 degrees out. lol!!

Happy Thursday dear friends. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying some summertime weather. We finally had some well needed rain yesterday. We have been so dry.
I am having a procedure today to try to figure out what is wrong with my port. It is a device that was placed under the skin on my chest so they can draw blood and administer the chemo drugs.
It worked the first time, but they could not get blood the second time but could give me the drugs. For the third series of drugs it was not working at all. I will find out what is the problem. They may have to do surgery to replace it. We will see.

I had my second treatment on Monday. It went well but I noticed today that my hair is starting to fall out. They said by the second treatment, but I didn't think it would be so soon. Oh well, it is part of the process.

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was really nice. We had to work on our water line to the pump. Actually, it was the wiring to the pump. We had no water on Monday morning and hubby was able to get it working but when we called someone out to see what the problem was, they said it was electrical. Of course, that morning Hubby had taken his brother (an electrician) to the airport. Fortunately, he guided us and we ran a new line and hubby hooked it up and all was well.
